The 35th edition of the JEEP conference will be held in Annecy on April 1-3, 2009. It will be organised by the SYMME laboratory (Systems and Materials for Mechatronics) with acknowledged support from Polytech’Savoie and the Université de Savoie.

The three day program will consist in plenary sessions, regular paper sessions, both oral and poster, and will also include lectures and tutorials, mainly dedicated to PhD students and young researchers on the first day. The JEEP conference is therefore going on with its long-lasting tradition of giving opportunities to young scientists to present their results in a constructive atmosphere and learn more about thermodynamics and phase equilibria.

The different sessions will include the following research fields:

• metallic systems,
• ceramics, oxides and metallic salts,
• organic materials,
• natural resources valuation and related problems.
